We take pride in our expert installation, and we stand by our work for life. Our Lifetime Installation Warranty covers:

• Any damage or defects caused by the installation process.

• Any functionality issues resulting from our workmanship.

• Any necessary repairs to correct installation-related problems—free of charge.

3. Lifetime Maintenance Warranty

If your window treatments qualify for a manufacturer warranty repair or replacement, we cover the labor required to fulfill that claim—at no cost to you. No worrying about extra service fees or hidden costs.

4. 5-Year Accident Protection

Accidents happen, and we’ve got you covered. If your window treatment is accidentally damaged within the first five years, we’ll give you up to $500 toward a single replacement, no questions asked.

• Normal wear and tear or gradual fading due to sun exposure.*

• Damage due to misuse, improper handling, or alterations by the customer.*

• Damage caused by pets, extreme weather, or natural disasters.*

• Products that have been moved from their original installed location.

• Any window treatments not originally purchased and installed through Shadesmiths.

How to Obtain Warranty Service

If you need to submit a warranty claim, follow these simple steps:

  1. Gather Your Information – Locate your original sales receipt and take note of the nature of the problem, product location, and any relevant details.

  2. Contact Us – Email our customer service team at warranty@shadesmiths.com or fill out the form below.

  3. Review & Scheduling – We will review your claim and schedule any necessary service appointments. Please note that in cases of warping, Shadesmiths may defer action for up to 12 months to allow acclimation to humidity and temperature conditions.

  4. Resolution – We will determine the best course of action, whether that’s reinstallation, adjustment, repair, or replacement. The decision is at the sole discretion of Shadesmiths.
